and large portions were found to have either "severe" or "extreme" ozone pollution problems. These areas are classified as "Enhanced area". If your local smog shop uses a "dyno" (treadmill for cars) chances are that you reside in a "Enhanced area" and and your vehicle may be subject to a test-only inspection someday.
Test-Only program allows us to have greater understanding and identification of vehicles with emission problems
in a more controlled enviroment. Since all Test only stations only inspect and certify vehicles we have no incentive to fail vehicles and generate income from unneeded repairs.In fact, most failures Eco Smog has seen are from other shops not properly pre-conditioning (warming-up) the vehicle for the test.Our Facility is designed to be efficient so you can get your smog in about 10-15 minutes instead of having to leave your car for the day.If it is neccasary to leave your vehicle we have 16 spaces allocated for our customers.
